Neonicotinoids are a class of pesticide that has become popular recently because of their relative safety and effectiveness. This publication discusses the use of neonicotinoids as well as declines in honey bee populations. It also reviews what is currently known about the relationship between neonicotinoid pesticides and honey bees.
