THIS IS THE OLD VERSION: If you are taking your pesticide licensing exams in WA on or before December 31, 2025, purchase and use this version of this study manual to prepare. There is essential information that will not be in the new version due to state rule changes in Certification and Training standards. Beginning January 1, 2026, there will only be one general weed control exam instead of the preexisting three (3) exams.

OREGON APPLICATORS: If you are taking the Oregon Department of Agriculture’s Ornamental & Turf: Herbicide exam, purchase and use this study manual to prepare. If you are taking a Washington State Department of Agriculture’s weed control exam after January 1, 2026, use EM131: Weed Control to help you prepare.
